Value Workshop
With a range of cross-divisional experts from different hierarchical levels, for one day we will work intensively on the question where values are created and where more value can be created. The workshop is possibly more successful if you decide in addition to invite clients and business partners, as normally greater problems lie at the interfaces between companies.
The workshop structure is interactive, it will inspire, it will be instructive, problems will be identified and prioritised, the future shall be outlined or, at least, being contemplated. At the end of the day there will be various hypotheses that will be prioritised as workstreams. Ideally a decision will already have been made concerning which workstream a detailed discovery phase should take place to validate the hypotheses and to name concrete activities.
For example, this could be the agenda:
- Intro “Time is now”
(a lecture on the need to change and adapt to the digital world with examples from the global economy)
- Exercise 1: How has the customer's industry changed over the past 100 years?
- Exercise 2: How will the customer's industry change in the next 100 years?
- Exercise 3: How has the customer changed and adapted? What is planned?
- Learning session 1: Design Thinking concept
- Exercise 4: Creating a SWOT profile (important exercise and introduction to the discussion; where lie the problems)
- Learning Session 2: “Why, What & How”-concept
- Inspiring Session 1: Learn from the best, an overview of the industry
- Exercise 5: How is the technology landscape situated in the company? Bridge or IOS approach?
- Inspiring Session 2: Market overview over relevant tools and what is possible today
- Design Thinking Session: Reconnect existing dots and dream about the future
- Exercise 6: Discuss and calculate potential business cases to solve problems or weaknesses
- Exercise 7: Prioritising of the business cases and decision concerning which cases a discovery phase should take place.
- Summary of findings, planning of next steps and possibly motivational speech at the end
Analysis: Overview
Specific Assessments
In some cases, the problems are already known, but it is not entirely clear how big the problem is, or what impact changes can have in certain areas. Often it makes sense to hear all parties involved in a particular process. In this case, there is the possibility of carrying out specific assessments to a problem or pain point already known. Possible topics for an assessment could be:
- Digital Readiness Factor
- Analyses and Reports
- Marketing Technology
- Digital Asset Management
- Product Information Management
- Approval Management
- Workflow Management
- Document Management
- Marketing Technology Opportunities
- Content Management
- SAP Integration (Invoicing etc.)
- E-Mail-Marketing, Newsletter-Marketing etc.
